At the end of the journey we met two dazzling Columbian guys who actually made the climb. When we told them how we had been wondering all along who was up there, the response with a slight tinge of disappointment, was "Lots of people are up there."
Not sure which peak they had climbed Stok-Khangri in the Zanskar range? Nun-Kun Massif? The Sasers? We'll never know, but we know they were really out there.
